It is important to clean carpets and upholstery on a regular basis.  For carpet every 12 to 18 months promotes a healthy indoor environment.  For upholstery every 18 to 30 months because the soil protection usually wears off by then.  More frequent cleanings may be needed when there is heavy use or unusual environmental conditions.

Upholstery dries usually between 4 and 12 hours.  Carpets dry between 4 and 24 hours depending upon the method and tools used, the soil condition, the thickness of the nap and the drying conditions such as outside humidity and if air conditioning or heat is to be used.

You may walk on the carpets right away as long as your shoes are clean.  You may move the furniture back when the carpet is dry to the touch.  You may put plastic bags or aluminum foil under the legs of furniture you want to move back before the carpet is dry.  We will place pads and blocks under the furniture which you have us move.
